How it works
A plan that follows your paychecks.
Here’s a month with Payday Plan, from setting it up on a Sunday night to the Friday a debt is finally gone.
1 · Setup
Say it once. Review it once.
Type your bills, paychecks and debts the way you’d say them. Paste a list. Attach a CSV. Payday Plan turns it into a set of changes you tick through and save.
- Pockets group the money: reserve for bills, spending for the card, savings for goals.
- A setup guide ticks itself off as the app sees each step done.
Read by Payday Plan’s built-in reader. No AI, and nothing left the server.
2 · Every payday
Bills line up under the paycheck that pays them.
The Month page shows every bill by date, by paycheck, by what’s due soon, or on a cash-flow calendar. The home screen boils it down to one number: free to spend until the next payday.
- Tick it (or swipe it) when it’s paid — with an Undo, and a note of who did it.
- Autopay ticks itself each morning, if you like. A bank connection can tick the rest.
- Forward bill emails to bills@paydayplan.app and this month’s amount is waiting for a yes.
3 · When things change
Prices rise. Debts end. Goals come due.
Payday Plan flags a bill that went up, tells you when a 0% promo is about to end, works out what a trip next July needs each month — and when a debt is paid off, asks where that payment should go next.
- Where things stand: one card listing what needs you, worst first, each with the button that fixes it.
- Month-end recap: planned vs actual, and one tap to make the real numbers next month’s plan.
Ready when your next paycheck is.
